Most dolphins hunt in groups. They chase a group of fish and they all get in a circle then they take turns swimming through the circle and eating fish. Bottlenose dolphins chase the fish up to the top of the water and then smack it with there tail. When the fish come back down its so stunned that it barely can swim and the dolphin eats it. Most dolphins like fish and squid. They also eat krill, crustaceans, shrimp and octopus. Dolphins don't use there teeth to eat fish they swallow it whole. There teeth are only used to hold onto it because it is so slippery. A dolphin usually swallows the fish head first so there spine wont hurt there throat.
