You must be careful the factory wire colors are not the same. A blue factory wire is not a remote wire like the headunit. Go to www.the12volt.com they have free factory wiring diagrams. If you need help feel free to contact me

no you do not. not even if you have the rockford fosgate package. you just wire up the aftermarket harness(95+ nissan) make sure you connect the blue/white wire. that will turn on the factory amp.
