The Euglena is a spindle-shaped organism. Each organism has a single anterior flagellum attached to it. A shape-sustaining pellicle covers the body of the euglena. A small gullet enlarges into a reservoir which resembles a human mouth at the anterior end. Although the reservoir looks like a mouth, it is thought that euglenas probably do not ingest food through thus. A small, red, light-sensitive eyespot is located near the reservoir. A large nucleolus is incased inside a small nucleus. It is a single celled organism. The euglena has a contractile vacuole, like most protist, which has the job of maintain organism's water balance by expelling excess water from the cytoplasm into the reservoir.
single celled organism,
It is neither a plant nor animal actually. It is really in the protista kingdom because it is a protozoa.Domain: EukaryotaKingdom: Protista(unranked): ExcavataPhylum: EuglenophytaClass: EuglenoideaOrder: EuglenalesFamily: EuglenaceaeGenus: EuglenaYour mama
This is a euglena, a type of protist. I have never heard of a euglena oval but under a microscope, euglena have an oval shape within them.
euglena does indeed have chrlorplasts.
Euglena is a genus. So Euglena has (or includes) species. Remember the order? Domain, Kingdom, ...... genus, species.
Euglena is an algae.Chloroplasts are present in them.
The one celled "Euglena"Currently, over 1,000 species of Euglena have been described. There are many to be discovered. Some Euglena are considered to have both plant and animal features.
Euglena A unicellular organism, also known as a single-celled organism, is an organism that consists of only one cell. Euglena are single-celled organisms which have the features of both a plant and an animal. Euglena is a very unusual organism, as it photosynthesizes yet it can also move about. Species of Euglena are found in fresh and salt waters. Euglena contains 59 nutrients, and it provides nearly all the nutrients needed to sustain human life.

Euglena are not bacteria.

The scientific name for euglena is Euglena.
The scientific name for euglena is Euglena gracilis. It is a single-celled, photosynthetic protist that can move by either using its flagellum or contracting its cell body.
