I think performance parameters as far as glass is considered in a building depends on sun path and location of the building. In general we can take glass with U value between 1.3 to 1.8 W/m2K, Solar Factor: 25 to 35%, Light Transmission: 35 to 45% in the building going for LEED ratings.
