Both educated and uneducated migrants arrive to Mexico City every day; living conditions depend basically on what education degree (or lack thereof) they have.
For instance, there are people with barely-finished primary education (grades 1-6) who migrate to the city. Quite often, they live on shantytowns known as ciudades perdidas (lost cities) on the outskirts of the city, living off poorly paid jobs.
On the other hand, there are people from other states with college degree, who look for better opportunities, are relocated to Mexico City due to their current jobs, or are fleeing from the violence currently affecting northern Mexico. Most of them are considered part of the middle class, and have a living standard akin to that found in the United States or Western Europe.
During recent times, there have been many non-European migrants to Mexico, specially East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans), as well as Southeast Asians (Filipinos). They make up 1% of the Mexican population (1.1 million).
