A dentist must be able to handle serious medical responsibilities and make excellent decisions in difficult cases and under stress, basing them on sound knowledge and skill. I want my dentist to be someone who really, really wanted to become a dentist and not someone who might have been just as happy to be a hygienist and wasn't confident about passing the test.
