I purchased a Philips model# SRU5107WM17 remote and had same problem with my Mediacom cable/dvr. Could not find the codes in the in package nor on the Philips website. I had to do some research. Not sure what brand of cable box you have but I have PACE and the Motorola codes worked for my Pace cable/dvr box. The code I used was 1077. If Motorola codes don't work, the Scientific Atlanta codes work for some Pace cable/dvr boxes. It is a shame that between Mediacom and Philips don't help customers out better.
How do I record a series on my Charter Motorola DVR
i have a isymphony tv & need a code 2 programe my bigmatters jumbo remote can you help me with codes.
I need the device code number to enter into my Dish DVR remote so the Harmon dvd will operate from that remote.
1376 worked for me on my Atlas OCAP DVR-1056. I couldn't get it to work until I managed to unlock the preprogrammed CBL setting (locked to Pioneer apparently by TW Cable)
You can program your DVR with a remote control.
If you have direct tv, you can just go to the menu and look for the code for the specific TV. And if you find the code, you have to know how to program that certain remote control. And if not just go to a Electronics store and buy a ten dollar remote and get the codes off of the instructions. They should definitely have the codes.
No, you will need the remote that goes with the tivo dvr.
The best way to find out which cable company offers a Motorola Cable Box DVR is to contact the company one is looking to subscribe to. Not all companies offer this particular box.
Yes! to program your remote,
Motorola and Pioneer both make DVRs with a firewire connection.
