Thing is i have "not used" my legs intensely in many years, i workout at home with bodyweght exercises but because of my long legs all leg workouts are uncomfortable and i hate running so i've ignored my legs for years, recently i was dragged to a football match and obviously i used my legs a lot, running, kicking etc. I got the normal after workout pain which is fine, lasted for like 3 days. A day or two passed after the pains, today i was late to the bus and had to run to get in and instantly i felt intense pain fom both my thighs, in the front, i clenched my teeth and made it but my thighs obviously hurt like hell when i put even a little strain on them. Can injury be caused by suddenly training an ignored muscle? Should i be worried?
The quadriceps muscles are found in the front of your thighs.

Quadriceps
Big upper leg muscles on the front of the thighs
quadricepsVastus Lateralis on the right side.Vastus Medialis on left side.
The hamstrings straighten the knee, while the quadriceps (on the front of your thighs) bend it.
Yes they do form lean thighs. If you do them the right way- front foot pointing forward, back foot also pointing forward- then they help build muscles in your calves and thighs. I do them after I workout and found my thighs were tighter than usual. So, it does help make your thighs lean.
Quadriceps are the muscles in the thighs. But basically yes.
Diet and exercise, along wtih stretching and exercsie to tone the muscles in your thighs.
The vastus Muscles
