Islam is religion of monotheism. Muslims believe in one and only one God (Allah in Arabic) with no son, no partner, no father, no companion, and no associate. God in Islam is same God in Christianity and Judaism and other Heaven religions. God is named in Arabic Allah; as named in English God and in French Dieu. Even Arab Christians, they have in their Arabic Bible God is written as Allah.

al ilah. nothing else. it's the moon god way back the babylonian empire. if they use more than 5, they are wrong. the only strong evidence they have, archaelogically, is al ilah. the moon god. Allah was coined from al ilah. Muslims deny that. they have been brainwashed for many many years since babylonian empire.

Answer:

Allah in Arabic, Eloha in Hebrew. The Hebrew name for God is said: Elohim, but the 'im' is an addded suffix used to imply honor. Therefore, the root name of God in Hebrew is Eloha. Like Allah. Same name, same God. Like Shalom (peace) and Salaam.

In Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, the name for God is also very close to "Allah".

Same God.

What was Hannibal's religion?

Today, all religious denominations have names like Protestant or Muslim. That used not to be so in ancient times. Ancient cultures had all kinds of different sets of national or even local gods, and apart from the 'official' gods each family had household gods who protected their home and family. The many Gods of Carthage were mostly ancient Phoenician gods, so you might say his was the "Phoenician religion", probably with a number of local Spanish gods (he was born and bred in Spain) thrown in for good measure. Major gods in Phoenician religion were Melquart and Baal.
