The following are some names of the World Islands; North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Congo Basin, East Africa, Sudan, Eurasia, Central Europe, Asia, and Far East.
The only islands I find that meet that description are the Balearic Islands. They are in the Mediterranean Sea at least 100 miles from Africa.
South Africa is a country with many islands. Some of the main islands are Bird Island, Stag Island, Seal Island, and Dassen Island.
