The work itself is pretty consistent, in that you are working hands-on with patients teaching them exercises, stretches and helping them relearn basic life skills such as walking, dressing, eating and other functions. However, you can find yourself working anywhere from an assisted living facility to a medical spa to working in people's homes as a type of home health nurse.
