Wax, like all matter, comes in many phases. What are the three possible phases?

The three stages in warming up are general warm-up, specific warm-up, and dynamic stretching. General warm-up involves elevating the heart rate and increasing blood flow. Specific warm-up focuses on movements similar to the main activity. Dynamic stretching involves moving through a range of motion to prepare the muscles for activity.

Warming up is a very important part of exercising. Muscles need to warm up in order to make them loose. This helps prevent the muscles from straining. The most common type of warming up is stretching.
Warming relaxes the muscles making them somewhat soft.
The phases simply add more carbohydrates with each phase. You would not want to switch between phases. It is set up as a system.
Warming up your muscles, ligaments and tendons will make them less susceptible to injury once you start exercising.
