Progeria is a disease marked by an accelerated rate of aging. Some of the symptoms include what is considered normal for geriatric patients: increases in Arthritis, wrinkles, hair loss, Heart disease and stroke. It is a very sad disease that causes a seven year old child to look and feel like an 80 year old person.
