In the V8, it's passenger side 1234 front to back, driver side 5678 front to back.
the tumblers in your key switch are failing replace them before long

On a 2003 Lincoln Navigator : It has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle
With your ignition key in the ON or ACCESORY position press the SELECT button in your overhead console
turn your ignition to the on position then off. do this for a total of three times, on the third time leave ignition in on position and look at your odometer. your computer will show up to tell you why your check engine light is on.... then search and find out what the codes are.
I have installed the radio and when the ignition is in the on position it works.When I start the vehicle,it shuts off.Why?

Take the negative battery cable off, then turn the ignition to the on position to leave the ignition on for 5 seconds then turn off. Then reconnect your negative battery cable.
