I have installed the radio and when the ignition is in the on position it works. When I start the vehicle,it shuts off. Why?
Most aftermarket stereos will work.
I put an aftermarket system in my intrigue, and don't recall a "stereo accessory wire". Do you mean the power antenna wire? Or is this a wire on your aftermarket box? Here's a GM diagram: http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/GM-Wiring.pdf
Needs a wiring harness, can't just put in an aftermarket stereo without re wiring the speakers etc.
Yes it can you just have to buy a vehicle specific adapter. This will also work going from a double din stock stereo to a single din aftermarket stereo
you have your wires routed wrong
no
Most auto parts retailers should have something that will work for you.
The GMC stereo has amplified rear door speakers. When wiring up the aftermarket stereo, connect the blue wire on a GM aftermarket harness to acc power and the speakers will work. I did the same thing for mine about 5 years ago. Good Luck...
The 2003 Chevrolet Blazer does not have an MP3 hookup. However, a wireless FM transmitter allows iPods and other music players to work through the speaker system.
hi i have a 2003 blazer and last year the same problem happen to me,just change the coil...i dont know if its your solution but it work for me
No, Chevy changed the wiring harness in 2003. and the way it is mounted, it can be made to work though.
most head units have a wire on there plug for power antennas, so as long as you hook the plug up right you should be alright! Good luck!
