I am not sure you can apply "positives and negatives" here. Sojourner Truth was a black woman, born into slavery, who courageously escaped and went on to become a well-known abolitionist, as well as someone who fought for equality for women. It is probably true that segregationists and bigots were opposed to her efforts, as were people who wanted women to be treated as less than men; but that does not necessarily mean what she did was negative. Rather, history's view of her has been quite positive.
If you are asking about ethical questions, she did run away from her master (which some people who believed in slavery regarded as a crime), and in running away, she had to leave all but one of her children behind as she made her escape. And after she became a free woman, she spent her life speaking out on controversial issues, which undoubtedly meant not everyone agreed with her. But by most accounts, she seems to have lived an admirable life, and was considered very influential in her day. I enclose a link to a good biography of her, so you can see for yourself what she accomplished.
