I just started taking iron supplements a little over a week ago and I am now 5 days late on getting my period. Are the iron supplements causing this? Before people ask, no, I'm NOT pregnant and I am eating as I normally would so I'm just wondering what effect the iron is having on my body. 5 Days may not seem like a long time but for me it is, I have NEVER been late, usually I am one or two days early. I am having the regular cramping that goes along with periods but no bleeding. Any thoughts?
