Increasing population leads to more money spent on welfare and medicare, plus the bigger the population is, the faster it will grow. This leads to tremendous use of resources and, if left unchecked, could destroy all life on earth. Every country has a method of population control to reduce the population of their citizens to prevent this.

If in a certain area there is all over a sudden a lot of people coming into the area, it would be called a Population Explosion. The problem would be that the government will probably pass out a law to say that a family if only to have one child. To have more than one child it will be forbidden.
