Check the heater core. WARNING: Changing a heater core is one of the all-time biggest pain-in-the-butt in all automotive repair history. Access to the heater core can be a nightmare. In some modern cars, it is actually necessary to remove the windshield and or the right front fender to access the heater core.
Sometimes changing a heater core can be a very big job. It is not changing the core that is hard, rather getting to it. Good luck.

Before CHanging the Heater Core, have you tried flushing it? I have a 99' Jimmy and have to do this every year to get my heater to work.

The SX-B21 Kerosene Heater has a wick that is located at the base of the heater. When changing the wick out always be sure to pour out any kerosene that may be left in the lamp.
