Extremely high risk! Don't do it!
There are two ways to work this scam.
One, the simplest, is for the person in Iraq to just take your credit card number and charge a bunch of stuff to it. This is probably the best case scenario.
The other is to actually put money into your account... via a check... and have you then transfer money from your account by Western Union to the accomplice in Ghana. The check then bounces, and Visa comes after you, saying "hey, you need to make this good." The advantage for the scammers here is that they can get more money than you actually have in your account.
If you have a friend and this friend is unhappy or falls ill and this upsets you and you feel that you would like to help your friend, then you care about this friend.
As your friend what is wrong?

"Indemnification" is the process of agreeing to (or actually) paying someone for something (i.e.- posting a deposit for a rental apartment) - a "release" is the giving up or acknowledging that a certain thing has been done.
Yes. I think if someone gives you a hug, they either like you or like your best friend. A hug is a way of saying that you care.
Someone giving away their account would be illegal. You have to buy a pet in order to get one.
Itachi did not lie to Sasuke when he informed him that your friend has to die for you to get Mongekyo Sharingan, but you do not have to kill your friend. All your friend has to do is die, or a carrier of Mongekyo can give it to someone. That is how Sasuke got his new power, from Itachi giving it to him.
