Deer are not predators; they are prey. So, they are always ready to take off at a moment's notice. So, for that matter, are predators, but the matter isn't quite so urgent for them. Their next meal depends on catching a deer but their life doesn't immediately depend upon instant escape.

white light doesn't produce interference patterns because white light is the entire spectrum of light. only light of a singular frequency produces interference patterns. white light does actually produce interference patterns but because there are so many frequencies involved the patterns blend with each other and are not detectable by eye.
Many tigers sleep during the day much that do are white and black tigers, though i have never seen a black and white tiger sleep during the day but many white and black tigers do.
