Everyone has to start of small. My advice is to chose your subjects based around your interest, such as English, Drama, Music, Art etc. (if that's your chosen career) Secondly it helps if you have a little background experience. Get involved with school productions or join a drama group... Once that's sorted you may have a chance at an audition, but if you've JUST taken a an interest now, you may find that unless your exceptional other people with more experience may get it rather than you, so aim small.
Most drama schools only accept students over the age of eighteen. To get into a drama school, you don't have to have been acting since you were a child but experience will help and is usually required - even if it's just at school or in amatuer theatre groups.
