The car idles very high for about 8 seconds then gradually idles down again
to normal, then idles up and down, you have to have one of your feet on the brake an the other on the gas pedal, it also shoots out black smoke out the exhaust pipe.
very scary to drive, but once on the freeway it drive good, but if you let go of the gas pedal slightly, it will jerk suddenly, get a new one or get one from an auto salvage
to make sure that it is your problem, then go buy a new one, good -luck, I am going to try several from the salvage yard till I find a good one that actually helped me with this problem, then I will go get a new map sensor also."speedon55@hotmail.com".....
It uses a manifold absolute pressure sensor. It uses a manifold absolute pressure sensor.
It's the MAP sensor...Manifold Absolute Pressure.
a map sensor is a manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor ( MAP )
It does not have a MAF, it uses a manifold absolute pressure (map) sensor. Which is bolted to the front of the throttle body.It does not have a MAF, it uses a manifold absolute pressure (map) sensor. Which is bolted to the front of the throttle body.
Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Sensor
Manifold Absolute pressure measures the change in manifold pressures. It is an input or data gathering sensor that the computer uses for management.
It does not have a MAF, it uses a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor.
No map sensor is manifold absolute pressure sensor and tps throttle position sensor
This is the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. It is located on the top of the motor between the fire wall and the intake manifold case.
manifold absolute pressure gas mixture.
The MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor monitors the intake manifold pressure changes and adjusts the fuel delivery based on its reading
