  • The most important teaching of prophet Muhammad was to worship Allah (God in English and not the same God for Christians and Jews and all God prophets) as the one and only one God with no partner, no associate, no companion, and no equivalence.
  • He called for good morals as described in Quran.
  • He called for following God commands as given in the holy book Quran that reflects real God words as revealed by God to the prophet through the angel Gabriel (Jibril).
  • He called for the ritual worships as described in the Islam five pillars
  • He called Muslims to do good deeds for the community and mankind benefit.
  • He banned fornication, drinking alcohols, gambling, killing innocents, and/or cutting any tree.
  • He called for respecting women and viewing them as their other halves in life and rights.
Answer BMuhammad was the apostle of Allah and brought with him the pure religion of Islam which is in effect an improvement upon earlier religion. Muhammad taught that there is one God ( Allah ) who has no parents or children or any partner in power. He taught that after this life, we will be resurrected and made answerable for our deeds. He taught that women are to be treated fairly.

Prophet Muhammad called his followers for good morals, good deeds, and to follow the Guidance of Quran and Sunnah (prophet Muhammad sayings and practices)

Answer CIslam is a religion which is sent to the whole of humanity for guidance and mercy. Islam came because the basics of Christianity and Judaism were corrupted by taking Jesus as God and son of God by Christians, and taking Uzair as the son of god by Jews, according to Muslim sources.

So God Almighty sent his LAST AND FINAL prophet (as He promised) in order to make people follow the COMMANDMENTS which are contradicted by Christians. Muslims believe in all prophets of God Almighty Adam, Ibrahim, Isaac,David, Yusuf, Yaqob, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad . and also they believe in the books which were sent to Moses and Jesus.

So the teaching of prophet Muhammad was to believe in ONE GOD and follow his guidance to obtain mercy and salvation.

Muhammad as Prophet

Muhammad taught that he was Allah's final prophet. The manner in which Muhammad did this may be considered a shirk by an external observer. For example, the Qur'an rarely ever mentions just Allah in decrees but 'Allah and his apostle", "Allah and his prophet" granting Muhammad equal authority to Allah.

Jesus as Prophet

In Islam, Jesus (Arabic: عيسى‎, commonly transliterated as Isa) is considered one of God's important prophets, a bringer of scripture, and a worker of miracles. Jesus is also called "Messiah", but Islam does not teach that he was divine. Islam teaches that Jesus ascended bodily to heaven without experiencing the crucifixion and resurrection.

Answer_D">Answer D"And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush." - Surah 9:5

In simple terms, kill the infidels.

Answer E (comment on Answer D)
  1. The mentioned verse above id truncated from what before and what after. When read the verses together you will understand that this killing of the polytheists are only for those who break their treaties with Muslims and prepare to attack them. Read the following verses including the one above to understand the full picture:

Quran says (surah 9:4 to 7):

Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (4) And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (5) And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know. (6) How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (7)

2. Quran says also )Surah 60: 8-9)

Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. (8) Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (9)

3. Quran never talks about Christians and Jews as unbelievers. They called as "People of the book" as they are holders of The Bible and Torah that Muslims believe in as God holy books.

4. Quran says also (surah 5:69):

Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (69)
