The three main rituals that Muslims practice in their daily life are Salah (prayer), Sawm (fasting during the month of Ramadan), and Zakat (giving alms to the poor and needy). The major monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) share a belief in one God, a focus on ethical living, and a sacred text. However, they differ in their views on Jesus - Christians believe he is the Son of God, while Jews and Muslims do not. Each religion also has unique practices, rituals, and holidays that set them apart from one another.
Muslims are required to pray five times a day at prescribed times: Fajr (before dawn), Dhuhr (midday), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (just after sunset), and Isha (night). The duration of each prayer can vary, but they typically take around 5-10 minutes to perform.

Usually for short flights, Muslims try to pray in airport chapels rather than on the plane. For longer flights, Muslims typically pray in their seats, doing partial prostrations to the extent that the size of their seats permit such prostration. Because of the difficulty of praying on planes, Sunni Muslims will combine prayers of Dhuhur & Asr and those of Maghrib & Isha, to create three daily prayers. (Shiite Muslims already combine their prayers like this normally.)
