horsepower : 200@ 5200 rpm
torque : 225@ 4000 rpm
Ineed the torque sequence and tightening specs for a 92 GM 3800 intake.
A GM dealer's service center would know.
I can help you out if i know the engine size. If you can provide me with that i can look it up in my GM torque spec book.
If you mean the 3.4 liter LA1 engine, you should expect between 205 and 210 foot pounds of torque, and between 170 to 185 horsepower.
3800 gm (supercharged does not change) Mains: 30Ft-lbs, then tighten 110 degrees sides:11 then tighten 45 degrees Rods:20 thentighten 50 degrees I got this from my haynes manual, I would highly suggest getting on as these a very important torque specs.......as well as many others required for engine building.
140 hp not sure on the torque Actually GM listed the 2.4 litre engine at 150 hp and 155 lb/ft torque.
what are the torque specs on body mount bolts
About 20hp.
I'm pretty sure this is that same 3800 motor that gm uses in my mom's 2001 buick Le Sabre. Her intake was the fiberglass resin plastic and the torque specs are 89 INCH pounds. Make sure you use the right tightening sequence too. 89 inch pounds is for the upper intake or Plenum. 136 inch pounds is the torque specs for the lower intake
80lbs
Ignore the specs. Work inside to out, tightening a little at a time. Should take you 6 or 7 runs through. Make them tight, but dont force them. I tightened to specs and had horrible leaks. With this method, perfect.
Without looking at the specs, would guess up around 100 foot pounds.
