No because most transmissons are unique and the 1996 is older than the 1992,now if u was tryin to put a 1992 into a 1996 it would work
Trouble code P0401 means: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Malfunction Replace the EGR Valve
Trouble code P0330 means:Knock sensor 2 circuit malfunction
1995 and later vehicles use the OBDII system and require the use of a scan tool to extract the trouble codes. Some auto parts stores will scan the system free of charge.
Trouble code P0402 means: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Excessive Detected
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : ( r134a )
1996 Geo metros have a OBD-II ECM in them, to read the codes you need to either get a code reader/scanner, which plugs into a receptacle under the dash below the steering column, or you need to take it to a mechanic.
