You will need a material which can be sculpted, for example wood or stone. The method below is not for serious art work: If you are making a sculpture of a person ,you must make a cross using two wooden poles then you must hold them together using the wire. then put two other poles onto the sculpture as legs you must place the two poles coming out at an angle from the centre of the cross. then make a ball of newspaper the size that you want your head to be. Attach the 'head' to the top of the upright pole using tape. cover the whole sculpture in newspaper using tape, then cover the newspaper in tape then cover the tape in modrock. once the modrock dries you can paint the sculpture. if you are making a sculpture of a specific person try and paint on the skin colour of that person and paint on the clothes that that person would probably wear. But if you are trying to make a professional looking sculpture a good affect is to paint the whole thing black wearing no clothes just cover it in black paint, preferably acrylic paint which will stay on the sculpture much more.
