Rome is inland, so no sea actually borders it. It is nearer to the west coast of Italy. To the west is the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Mediterranean is farther west, connected to the Tyrrhenian. To the east of Italy is the Adriatic Sea.

The Ligurian Sea and the Adriatic Sea are two seas that border Italy. The other two sea that border Italy are the Mediterranean Sea and the Ionian Sea.

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is located inland and does not directly border any seas. The countries that border Ukraine are Belarus to the north, Russia to the east, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west, and Romania and Moldova to the south.
Cuba is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the north.
