The smallest is a Netbook, and this is a mini laptop, that isn't very powerful and can't do demanding things like play games.
Next is the Laptop, which is good for everyday portable computing, and some can cope with lower demand games and can deal with multiple programs.
Next is the Desktop and Slimline Desktop these can do similar things to laptops, and are good for everyday computing, documents, internet, etc.
Gaming Laptops and Gaming Desktops are usually obviously larger and more expensive than your standard Laptop or Desktop, and have more powerful hardware that lets them cope with high demand programs, and demanding games with high resolution graphics.
Servers are the backbone of the Internet and Corporate IT, and are not designed to deal with games, but are designed to deal with a lot of people asking for information at the same time, and they are also designed to be left powered on for months at a time. They are very large, expensive, and more complicated than normal computers. Their hardware is also very impressive, and often they need two power cables!
