At first, Christians would have been thought of as Jews. After the split between Christianity and Judaism, late in the first century, Christians were thought of as atheists.
It is not true to say that Christians and atheists always fight. Most atheists have little interest in what others around them believe, and are very willing to allow others to hold different views to their own. While most Christians believe that there is a duty to convert others to believe in God, they also accept the inherent right of others to hold different views if they wish to do so. However, a small minority of Christians take the supposed duty to convert others to believe in God very seriously. They actively assert that only their worldview is correct and challenge atheists regarding their beliefs. Atheists must respond, and usually do so moderately, although a very few such as Richard Dawkins respond in kind.
There is no one answer to that question. Christianity encompasses a broad spectrum of views on drugs and alcohol.
No - why?
Some Jews become Christians, some Christians become Jews and even more Jews become atheists, or "secular Jews". A healthy society should see conversions from one to the other, in each direction.Jewish answer:No. Jewish converts to Christianity will be, and have always been, a minority.
All Christians or atheists
The largest and main religion in Russia is Orthodox Christianity. However, there are also some smaller groups of other Christians, Muslims, Jews and atheists.
The question is flawed for two reasons:It assumes all atheists think about Christians crying while praying. They don't.It assumes there is an authority that speaks for all atheists. There isn't.
Christians believe in God and atheists do not. All Christians do not have the same values and all atheists do not have the same values. Christians and atheists both respect human values. Christians are more judgmental since they believe they know how everyone should live and they condemn both other beliefs and lack of belief. Atheists do not judge others or try to impose their non-belief on others. Both Christians and atheists have a positive influence on humanity. Christians choose their values and how to live within a Christian context. Atheists choose what they value and how they live for themselves.Human values predate religious belief. There is evidence from 14,000 years ago of prehistoric hunter-gatherers who were widespread in the Near East placing flowers in graves of deceased members. That indicates the existence of human values long before Christianity. On the other hand I would argue that one cannot be a true Christian and a true existentialist. The two are incompatible.
In truth, it is a conspiracy. It is a conspiracy against intelligence. Perhaps a conspiracy against sanity. There is no secret, malevolent, construct of man that is organized against Christianity. Not even atheists can agree on how to address Christianity. For that matter, not even Christians can agree.
Lots of christians. Africa is the new stronghold of christianity. Barely any Atheists, in many places at only 0.01%. Also, Islam has a large influence in Africa.
most atheists think Christianity is not good and its members are hypocrites
