What are three disadvanatges to using the atomic bomb?
The atomic bomb has advantages and disadvantages and sometimes they are the same thing.
- The cost of building, housing, maintaining and guarding an atomic missile bomb is astronomical.
- The dangers involved in accidental radiation is minimal but still there. If the bomb is set off radiation is a definite problem around the world.
- The bomb can destroy cities and small countries all at once. (also advantage) But, retaliation is possible. You can end up destroying the world.
- The consequences of the bomb's afterlife radiation takes 50 to 100 years or more to wear out depending on the amount of bombs dropped.

It made the U.S. look stronger, it stopped the war, Force Japan to surrender in World War 2, and looked cool doing so as you see on the link provided.
Answer . \nYes and no. With the knowledge that the people had about the atomic bomobs back then, it was justified. It got rid of WWII quickly without killing millions of J…apanese and Americans. However, they had no idea of the damages that would happen to innocent people and the environment because of the radiation that came from it. Nowadays, we know better
because atom, when split become highly unstable, and in whats called nuclear fission, atoms are divided inot smaller ones, and that on a large scale is devestating.
to help save American lives and 2 end the war because if they didnt the war would have been 8 monthes longer
Before the very scientifically complex atomic bomb, other bombs are just basically tons of explosive stuff jammed into a bombshell, so it wasn't too advanced there.
On August 6, 1945, the first Atomic bomb was dropped on japan.Another was dropped on August 9,1945 which ended WWII. Those arethe only times in the history of warfare that an …Atomic weapon wasused.
The only time the US ever used Atomic Bombs was during World War 2 when the first atomic bombs were used. Nowadays, the atomic bombs are kept underground. Nuclear missiles are… ready to use in the case of a nuclear warhead being launched at the US by an enemy or unknown foe. There have been thousands of nuclear warheads disabled since the Cold War ended.
The United States was faced with the daunting prospect of invading Japan in order to force a close to World War 2. The Japanese had already shown a willingness to go to incred…ible lengths to continue the war and to cause destruction to their enemies. The fierce fighting for islands near the Japanese mainland (Iwo Jima and Okinawa) resulted in a staggering loss of 19,800 American dead and 58,000 wounded. Leaders knew that the losses in undertaking any invasion of the home islands would result in many, many more casualties. Some estimated that American casualties would reach 750,000 in invading Japan. Japanese civilian casualties were not a tremendous concern for American leaders at that time, but they were aware of the huge wave of suicides on Okinawa and of the 100,000+ death toll from the bombing and fires in Tokyo. In this method of calculating, the atomic bombs (if they worked as planned) would actually save lives: hundreds of thousands of American soldiers and sailors, and likely more than a million fewer Japanese civilian deaths. Another viewpoint is that the use of the bomb to shorten the war was essential economically. Four years of war had seriously strained America's finances. The government was not able to borrow any more money. The Treasury was in a panic. If the bomb was able to end the war, the risk of federal bankruptcy would be averted. The economic crisis was suppressed during the war and easy to ignore in history, but was very real at the time.
-Reasons to use the Atomic Bomb. Saves lives Saves money Saves time Revenge of Pearl Harbor Keep Russians out of Japan, preventing them from getting Manchuria.
it was used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which are both in Japan.
1. To end the war with Japan without wasting any more lives in combat. 2. To allow Allied air support to drop medical supplies and food to Chinese suffering from the Japanes…e occupation. This saved millions of innocent lives, much more than were lost to the bombings. 3. I think that is reason enough.
In US in WW2
The first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan ; another on Nagasaki, Japan, 3 days later.
In World War 2
The US has used atomic weapons in war twice, August 1945, Hiroshima Japan and Nagasaki Japan.
In World War 2
It was first used on August 6, 1945 around 8:15 a.m. in Hiroshima, Japan.
In World War 2
No, only two were dropped on Japan. However before these, one was detonated as a test on top a 100 foot tall steel tower in New Mexico. A tower was used so they could aim ca…meras and other test instruments accurately before the explosion.
In Nuclear Weapons
Any heavy radioactive element can be used. Like uranium.
