Just like any other car but remove the wheel lock.
An 18" wheel with a low profile tire will fit well on a Mark VIII.

Someone may have wider tires on theirs however I have 235 x 60s on the back and 225 50s on the front with no problem
Tire pressures vary by tire manufacturer and tire application. The maximum tire pressures are marked on the sidewall of the tire during the manufacturing process. Also, the recommended tire size and pressures are usually found on the drivers side door pillar.
Dose it say problem with your air ride in your display on your dash. If not check the switch in you trunk are the pump went out its on the passenger side front tire you have to remove the passenger side tire ant the wheel well to access the pump..
Tire pressures are measured in (Bar) or (PSI).
The recommended tire pressures are located on the tire. Each brand of tire is different and you should follow the proper psi for each.
1982 Lincoln Mark VI (2 door coupe) uses this size of tire. 205/75/15
tire pressures will rise due to the tire heating up due to flexing and friction of it against the road surface. This is why the tire pressures are suppose to be set when they are cold.
