According to the biblical account, it appears that Noah's Flood covered the entire Earth, to a depth of several kilometres.
Genesis 7:19-20
19And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
The Bible says that the Ark settled on top of Mount Ararat, which is 5,137 metres (16,854 feet) high. Any flood that covered the mountain would have required the entire world to be covered to at least this depth. In fact, to ensure that all people not on the Ark were drowned, the Flood must have been even higher. The laws of physics mean that the water would have been the same depth over the entire world: every continent and sea. Another law of physics says that this amount of water never existed on earth, meaning that Noah's Flood could never have occurred.

yes you clean up after a flood
You would have to purchase a separate policy. Flood is not covered on a homeowners policy and the flood program is set up by the government. Usually, the reason that people get flood insurance is because their mortgagee requires that you have it. If you are located in a flood plain, you can obtain a flood policy. A flood plain is an area that is deemed to have flooded in the past 100+ years. See your insurance agent about getting a flood insurance policy if you need one. Be aware, flood policies are offered by other companies as well as the government program. Also, flood coverage does not go into effect for thirty (30) days after you take out the policy. This prevents people from running to get a policy when a flood is already eminent.
To get ready for a flood first make emergency evacuation plans. Then move all object possible to the highest area and board up windows and lay out barrier with sandbags if need be.
well...a capacitor RELEASES charge which if BUILT up. that's why... lets say that you have a bucket...and you want to flood a small area...you need to fill up ( charge) the bucket before you can flood (discharge) ANSWER: It has the possibility to discharge if a path can be found. ITS property is to store potential
It doesn't take up much area on the ground (it's roots branch downward)
This is the area of Pell Lake west of the lake, basically all residences west of Clover Road, North of County H and South of Lake Geneva Highway. Realtors use this unofficial name to describe this area as it sits on a much higher elevation than the lake area homes. Thusly this area is not considered in the flood plain and no flood insurance is required on one's homeowner's policy. As much of the area around the lake itself is flood plain, the term was coined simply for realtors to distinguish a "sell-up" over the lake area....
It lasted about 8 hours then the flood cleared up.
