Any place north of the Arctic Circle or south of the Antarctic Circle will experience "midnight sun" for a few days or weeks around the Summer Solstice. The closer to the pole, the longer the period of sun in the summer - and perpetual darkness during the winter.

The Summer Solstice is on June 22 for the northern hemisphere, and on December 22 in the Southern Hemisphere.
