Mass punishment is a violation of Army Regulation; however, Special Unit Training is not. If you are experiencing Special Unit Training as a perceived response to the interpretted misconduct or mistake of a unit member (or several), it would be unwise to try to label it "Mass Punishment." There is a long legacy of those who have focused the light of scrutiny upon themselves by questioning the history and traditions of the US Army.
