1966 GTO
you don't
The wiring diagram for your 1966 Pontiac Tempest can be obtained from most General Motors dealerships. A service manual with the wiring diagram can be found at most local libraries.
These manuals (or copies) are available on eBay most all the time.
Yes. That was one of the options for 1965. Of the 96,946 GTO's produced in '66 35,667 were auto transmissions. I do not have a breakdown on shifter location.
66 or 67
i will hope so
Probably lower left by the steering column near firewall
for auto and manual its 6 degrees BTDC
I know that this rear is a gm standard 10 bolt, and Pontiac used it in the 64-66 gto, tempest, and le mans.
Personally you can not rebuild a steering colum you have to find a professional.
If you were able to find the answer to this can you please email me directly at jordanrudel@hotmail.com I am having the same questions and need some help. Thanks. I have a 66 sklark with tilt column.
First, you draw a 3x3 grid and in the top left corner you put the times symbol. Then along the top you split up 60 into 6 and 0. You put them into the different boxes. Then you go along the first column and split up 66 into 6 and 6 and put them into the boxes. Your now ready to start working it out! You look at the rest of the boxes and see what column and row there in, and you times the column by the row. Once you have filled in all of the boxes, you add them all together and that's your answer.
