If you want to format it with out using iTunes then go to setting on your iPhone then to general then to reset then select erase all content and settings it should ask you to enter your pass code then it will make sure with you that you really want to format your iPhone to its original state and after a few minutes your done. Here is a way about how to format iPhone. Settings--->General--->Reset--->Erase All Content and Settings and wait for the iPhone to format itself. Before format your iPhone, you'd better backup your data.

Insert it into the drive - the computer will recognise the disk and offer you the best option to format it.
Using an install dvd, there is usually an option to format
ctrl-1 will copy the format of the selected cell then you will have to select the cell in which you want to change. On the menu bar there is a icon that looks like a paint brush. You can select this icon to copy a cells format as well but you will have to still select the cell in which you want the change to happen.
