North Vietnam had to fight against the French and the Americans to gain its independence. The French and Americans were trying to stop the spread of communism to South Vietnam, but the war ended badly with the French and Americans suffering defeat.
Edmund Charles Genet was the French citizen that hoped to gain American support for France. During the French Revolution he was the French Ambassador to the US.

After the battle of saratoga, the french realized that the Americans were a good bet to win the Revolution, and they were already looking for a way to get revenge on Britain from the French and Indiian War. The Americans gained a lot of artillery and manpower, which probably was the deciding factor in the American's victory at Yorktown
pretty well bro. i believe it was significant because the Americans showed they could hold their own against the british. they killed alot of brits. helped gain the support of the people to join the army.
The Europeans and Americans both helped support the Greek Revolutionary Movement. They did so to help Greece gain independence as America and many European nations had. They gave both moral and monetary support.
