There was no Concord Bridge (Revolutionary War); there was no Fort Sumter (US Civil War); there was no Pearl Harbor (WWII); there was no invasion of South Korea (Korean War); Vietnam developed like cancer...slowly and unseen...then began to spread...slowly and barely observable...then it got out of control, in which it was too late to cure, and it consumed the body (actually destroyed the Republic of South Vietnam).
