It's the energy that we get using the movement of the waves
In the middle of the ocean it is simple harmonic. But at the shores the energy would be diverted into lateral movement
air movements, storms, and ocean currentsthe primary ways that heat energy is transferred are air movement, storms, and ocean currents.
Thermal energy can be used in generating electricityNon-polluting, so doesn't cause global warming.Free, renewable and never-ending
The waves of the ocean are created by wind transferring energy in to the water.
n
ocean currents
My topic is Ocean Energy Flow and my question is what is global concentrations.
The energy produced by the movement of ocean water is Tidal Energy
It's the energy that we get using the movement of the waves
Conveyor Belt Cycling describes the movement of the ocean water between surface and deep water.
In the middle of the ocean it is simple harmonic. But at the shores the energy would be diverted into lateral movement
Because it has a greater surface than land, and therefore absorbs more solar energy. Also because the ocean is generally colder than land (ocean has less thermal energy than land) , and higher energy goes to lower energy.
And the water's movement.
Tidal energy refers to energy from the changing tides of the ocean, and wave energy refers to the energy carried in oceanic waves. Ocean energy is a very vague and incorrect term, although if you have heard it, it probably refers to those. There is lots of energy in the ocean, and to say ocean energy would be pretty ignorant. There is also energy in its living creatures, in its temperature differences, in the currents that affect global weather patterns. There is also energy in all the chemical bonds in every molecule of every single thing in the ocean that we simply choose to overlook.
