Probably the most loved of all Bible readings at weddings it an extract from a letter that Paul wrote to the Christian Church in Corinth. The Corinthian Christians had had a bad time, and there were arguments among them over various things. Paul wrote to them to remind them about Christian love amongst othern things. This reading, on Christian love, is probably the most well-known piece of Paul's writing - certainly it is one of the best loved and particularly suitable for a wedding. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
It means to read the bible through meditation.
Not in its entirety but you will read verses of Scripture. Here is a link for you that has many 'versions' of the Bible for your reading pleasure:

For me Its important for us in our life to read the bible
Imagination or you are more receptive to sounds that remind you of the Bible when reading it
Reading anything helps you to learn how to read better. The Bible is a good book to read because it is written in old-fashioned language, which is harder to understand. If you can learn how to understand it, you will really be a good reader.
Most people read scripture from the bible or a love poem. Read something that touches the heart or the bride and groom.
while reading the Bible, take a shot every time you read the word "He"
no a lectionary is a list of reading to be read while a bible is a past story of jesus
You will have to follow your heart on this one. Read the bible, the answer is in there. It is in Commandments. The bible is our guide line. You can only learn from it by reading it.
No, I wouldn't say it is a sin. But as a Christian, reading the Bible is essential to one's spiritual health, and therefore it is nessasary in one's walk with God to read the Bible. Just as you need water, you need the Bible to live fully in God.
the earliest christians were able to read the bible...if they could read. Once the bible was translated to latin in the vulgate, it became out of reach for most believers. This was done because latin was the language of the educated. What kept them from reading was not that they weren't allowed but that they didn't have a bible and they couldn't read latin.
