Jesus was Jewish and raised in the Jewish traditions. Can be found in; Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the [Mosaic] law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Most people claim that Jesus practiced Christianity. Truth is, He didn't. Jesus created Christianity, therefore how could he practice it? Meaning- Jesus Practiced Judeasm, because He was a Jew. The Life of Jesus and His morals as a person in Christ, however, are what Christians believe. We also believe that the messiah has walked the Earth. Jesus was the Messiah; Jews, however, believe that the messiah has never walked the Earth. So, if Jesus was the Messiah and was crucified, wouldn't you say that He walked the Earth? Jesus practiced Judaism because the Messiah hadn't walked the Earth until Him. Jesus was (and is) Jewish. Christianity came about because salvation was made available to the whole world, Jew and non-Jew alike. Jesus is the Jewish Messiah that the Jewish scriptures (the Old Testament) prophesied. Jews who recognize and accept Jesus as the Messiah (Messianic Jews) are saved. Believing in Jesus makes a Jewish person's faith complete. It doesn't take away from their Jewishness.
The Bible records that the disciples of Jesus (Yeshua) not Jesus (Yeshua) himself were first called Christians in Antioch (a Roman territory) by the Romans (not by fellow believers) in a bid to dehumanize the brotherhood of faith in torturous games of amusement. The Romans used the Sanhedrin under Herod's control to find and interrogate the Jewish movement directed by Jesus (Yeshua) and that is the main reason why none of the Jews trusted Paul (Saul) as he used to work for Herod's court as an agent of death and the Jewish body of believers feared Paul and would not listen to him unless Barnabus was present. Eventually Paul (not of the original twelve disciples) had to turn to Gentile audiences and their pagan traditions (the disciples of Paul were totally responsible for the formation of a divide in the Jewish faith that still permeates Christianity today with many divisions) which are the early rudiments of Christianity. Jesus (Yeshua) a practicing Jew who was a faithful steward of Judaism only! Christianity (a pagan religion developed in Rome from Paul's disciples) did not exist neither was it taught by Yeshua. Jesus's (Yeshua) only true religion was Judaism (Essene). There was never any such thing as Judaeo Christianity as all of the books of the bible are by Jewish authors only! The present bible was trimmed down by the Gentiles (Constantine the Great & Eusebuis) in a bid to Hijack Jesus (Yeshua) from Judaism as anti-Jesus teachings are paramount throughout Christianity! The early Christian movement in Rome became ant-Semitic and removed all Jewish elements from the early church.
Jesus was the leader of one of the many tiny sects that existed on the fringes of Judaism under Roman rule. He was a preacher and like many of his fellow preachers, he claimed to be the 'maschiach', or 'messiah'. None of these men, Jesus included, fulfilled the 23 Jewish messianic prophecies before they died, so we know Jesus was not the messiah. Although Jesus sought only to reform some aspects of Judaism, and never meant to start an entirely new faith, he violated Torah on several counts and if it's true that he claimed to be 'god', then he violated core Jewish belief. In Judaism G-d never takes human form, and no human can ever be 'divine'. So effectively Jesus left Judaism, as did the tiny group that followed him and believed he was the messiah and that he had 'risen' again three days after being killed by the Romans. I would say you cannot. Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Also, the New Testament in essence wiped out the old law in the Old Testament that Jews still follow. Kosher food for example.
Many Bible scholars believe that Yeshua (Jesus) and John the Baptist belonged to a gnostic Jewish sect. They also believe that the claims that Yeshua was "the Messiah" the the Jews were expecting were not his own. My personal belief that that he was "a Messiah" (anointed of God) but he was obviously not the political liberator expected by Jews at this time.
Jesus is from the tribe of Judah.
When JEsus came and saved us from our sins.
The most traditional branch of Judaism is referred to as Orthodox Judaism.
it belongs to the executive branch.
The question should be " What does Christianity have to do with Jews (or Judaism)?" Judaism is like a tree where Christianity is its branch and Islam is it leaves. Christianity is based on Judaism and Islam is based on Christianity. The major difference between the three is that Judaism doesn't have jesus in it unlike Christianity and Islam.
In Tagalog: Jesus = Jesus (pronounced similar to Spanish). Judaism = hudaismo
Judaism makes no comment on Jesus as he is a part of Christianity and plays no role in Judaism.

Niether. He is the God of the Christians and the Jews. He doesn't have a religion as He is the centerpiece of worship to all who will come to Him (Acts 17:30,31).
