Basically, you don't have to really trim horses unless you go to shows. There are some breeds, such as the Friesian, that should NOT be trimmed at all. The Arabian should have a long bridlepath, but mane and tail should not be trimmed. With any horse, however, you can trim their whiskers and lond hairs around their faces, but there are some rules in 4H about trimming. Horses don't need to be trimmed unless they go to a competition, as the long hair around their faces helps them find out what is going on and the hair on their legs protects them against mud and debris.
That would be the Abaco barb which has less than 10 individuals left in the breed.
I would think that if they were closely related, they would at least be a cross of the same breed.
Yes Belgian horses reproduce. If they didn't then the breed would not exist.
Uh, if they didn't breed, how are they supposed to have more sea horses? Yes, sea horses breed.
All horses should be barefoot; there are several natural farriers who have never been unsuccessful taking a horse barefoot with the wild horse trim. But the breed you have probably heard about would be the mustang.
You can buy it from the auctions or you would have to breed two horses.
Black is a color and not a breed. Appaloosa horses can be black.
All horses can cross breed with each other.
Draft horses, for farming with a renewable source of power. As for buggy horses, the breed depends upon how conservative the community is. More conservative communites would use a stockier workhorse breed. Those that are less conservative will have horses that are, more than likely, of a a sleeker breed that may well have come from the trotter tracks around the area.
Yes, of course. But palomino is not a breed, it is a color. You would need to look at the breed to see if it would make a good jumper.
yes.
There are many mixed breed horses. Many people will breed 2 types of horses that are specialized in one area to get a horse that is even better at that one thing. There are many mixed breed horses where you cannot tell all the breeds in it. They call those horses "grade" horses.
