What can I do on a very long train ride?

You can bring a music player like iPod, MP3, iPhone, anything of the sort. Then bring a portable gaming device like Nintendo DSi, PSP Go, gba (old though but i still play sometimes), or anything of the sort. Also bring a puzzle or coloring book or a novel. If you don't have one, you can buy one at the airport giftshop while waiting for a flight.

Sleeping is one option, but there is so much to choose from! You could play on any electronics you have, Color in coloring books, (even though most children do it, it`s still fun!) Watch an in flight movie (if your plane has it), or eat! Bring a note book and writ down what you are going to do once you get to your destination, and much more! I`m going to the Caribbean this summer and i`m gonna have to do all of this.

You can read a good book. A portable DVD player, or video game device like GameBoy would help pass the time. You may also have the opportunity to get some beautiful photographs along the way. A variety of activities will help keep boredom at bay.
