Kittens and cats are strict carnivores. They get all their nutritional needs from meat. Kittens in particular, need a lot of Protein and Fat in order to grow and develop in a healthy manner. Kittens need much more Protein as an adult cat does, so don't be surprised if you are feeding your kitten much more than you would an adult cat. Also, kittens have small stomachs, so the best method of feeding is "little and often", as often as four to six times a day for very young kittens.
The best cat foods are the ones with a very high meat content (labelled as Chicken, Turkey, Tuna, etc.) as the FIRST ingredient with no grains, wheat, or corn. Foods that are free of grains, corns, and wheat gluten are highly recommended as these are cheap "filler" that bulk up foods - but have no nutritional value for your kitten. Wet food with these specifications are much easier to find than in dry food.
The amount of moisture in cat food is also very important. Dry food contains no moisture, so is quite dehydrating. Cats are notoriously bad drinkers, even when they are thirsty. This is because they have evolved to get all their needed moisture from their prey (their ancestors were cats that lived in very dry and arid environments where water was hard to come by), so therefore have a low "thirst drive" and will not often seek out water on their own. This is a trait that has been passed down over the thousands of years.
Canned or pouched food has anywhere between 60 to 80% water. Seeing as in the wild a cat's prey is around 65%-75% water, wet food provides a cat with more than enough water each day.
For high-quality Cat food there is: Blue Buffalo, Felidae, Weruva, California Natural, Instinct, Prairie, Natural Balance, Eagle Pack, Wellness, EVO, Bozita (the canned stuff is 90+% meat and can be bought from zooplus.co.uk), HiLife (60% meat), Feline Fayre, to name a few.
Kittens and cats are strict carnivores. They get all their nutritional needs from meat. Kittens in particular, need a lot of Protein and Fat in order to grow and develop in a healthy manner. Kittens should be fed small meals at regular times, and should be allowed to eat as much as they wish.
The best kitten foods are ones that are labeled specifically for kittens. Younger kittens that are just starting to transition from nursing to eating typically do better with wet or canned food for the first month or so, then can transition from wet to dry food as their teeth come in.

If you mean a kitten then they eat the same as adult cats just in smaller amounts. And really young kittens drink milk from there mother cat. However don't give a cat cows milk, its not good for them
..............................................
babymice also like to eat kitten nip.
its less potent than catnip
For a kitten, it is best to feed it wet food. Mush it up in to small pieces and then, if you like, you can crumble a tiny amount of hard food and put in in the bowl with the wet food.
it can eat or drink milk or eat smached food like baby food mabe but i did that and my cat is fine!
Kittens drink their mothers milk for a while. Untill they're weaned their mom will feed them. After a bit they will b weaned and can eat different food.
Milk
kitten chow or formulated food especially for kittens.
You should give steak and roast pork
You should never give your hamster banana because it is a wet fruit
First of all if your kitten does not have its eyes open yet, or is still way too young to eat solid food, then you still NEED to feed him/her. For a while you will need to get a kitten bottle and some formulated milk. (NOT regular milk! Must get milk meant for newborn kittens). You will need to bottle feed your kitten and here is a good website that has step by step instructions on how-to, http://cats.about.com/cs/kittencare/ht/bottlefeed.htm Usually kittens will start to try soft, solid foods at around six weeks old. If at any point a kitten is refusing food, you need to take it to the vet immediately. Kittens, especially young kittens, can go downhill very fast if left to their own devices.
Dog food thatβs right for it
From what I am told you should not give kittens milk! You can buy a canned KMR (Kitten Milk Replacement) in the cat section of most pet/food stores. HTH

Hi, there are probably many things you could try, but when I foster kittens, I usually give them a small amount of oily tuna (the kind from the tin) and this seems to help.
we should give a complete diet like milk of mother to the infant.
As much as they are able to eat. At 4 to 6 weeks old, kittens are generally still suckling from their mother, or, if their mother isn't around, being fed from a bottle. Young kittens are usually fed every couple of hours. It is not unknown for such young kittens to start to take an interest in their mother's food, although 6 to 8 weeks is the more usual time for weaning. Have a shallow dish of water out, and offer small portions of mashed-up wet cat food as frequently as you are able. It is best to put down food for them (on a plate, not in a bowl is a plate is easier to eat out of) at least six times a day.
just give goldfish food
sweets
try to make them some kind of shade and some water. if you think they need water, give them a bowl of room-temperature water.
You should probably ask your vet for advice on that.
Even though the mother has not been seen she is lurking somewhere nearby. queens often leave kittens unattended to find food. also, if the kittens are young there is a good chance they are still nursing, i watch animal cops and have seen this kind of thing before. do NOT move the kittens, the cops removed the kittens no one had seen their mother, well the nursing queen arrived just as they were leaving with the kittens, the female ran away and never came back, so they found the 6 day old kittens a new momma with fresher milk, your unseen momma cat is somewhere nearby and remember DON'T move the kittens.
they give the same food from here but it is just a little bit difrnt from hear
