From personal experiance, skipping doses of Strattera causes majour aggrivation and rapid mood swings. If you have axioty or depression it can cause suicidal thoughts with in 4 hours. Almost anything will irritate you and you will be annoied and anything that moves or makes noise.

∙ 18y agoIf they have never happened before, then it is very possible. Even though anxiety attacks may not be listed under possible side effects, it could very well be one. The drug companies don't know all of the possible effects of their drugs until it happens and someone complains. If it isn't noted on the paper that comes with the bottle, notifiy the company so they can put it in their record. They have to record every problem that may come as a result of the drug so that if it is found to be common, they will add it to the side effects section of the fact sheet.

I nave had frequent nightmares while taking strattera... However, I haven't been sleepwalking.... But then again... Maybe I have....

I Was sleeping everyday on my lunch hour while taking Strattera, It made me feel dopey but it did help a little with concentration issues strangely enough. Just switched to metatdate...hope it works better. N One of the side effects of Strattera is fatigue, but this is not considered a permanent side effect and should resolve itself in two or three weeks as your body becomes accustomed to the drug. When you increase your dose or go off Strattera for a day or more, the fatigue may kick back in as your body re-adjusts, but for most users, this side-effect eventually goes away. Every person is different, though, and if you are taking other drugs, there could be interactions with them that will cause unexpected side effects.

Are there any side effect taken Lexapro and Strattera?
Mixing Lexapro and Strattera can cause a few side effects. The Lexapro can cause the Strattera to build up in the blood more. This causes dry mouth, sleep problems, dizziness, loss of appetite and heart palpitations.
Can Enzyte be taken with Strattera?
I do not know specifically about Enzyte, but I currently take a small dose (2.5 mg) of Cialis concurrently with my 80 mg daily dose of Strattera. This was prescribed by my doctor to help fight the sexual side effects of Strattera. There have been no negative interactions that I can tell and the Strattera sexual side effects have pretty much been eliminated. If you are taking Enzyte to combat sexual side effects of Strattera, I would suggest talking to your doctor or at the very least the pharmacist to find out if there are any possible interactions. As far as I know, Enzyte is completely herbal (and from what I've heard... a placebo), so it probably won't have any interactions, but it is better to be safe than sorry!

I have had terrible problems with overheating on strattera, to the point that I can be dripping with sweat after a 2 block walk. And I literally mean "dripping", from the sides of my face onto my clothes, my forehead into my eyes, etc. My clothes get soaked. I am on a very low dose but am thinking of stopping it b/c I cannot tolerate this sweating.

Hi. It's funny that you mention that. I never had any issues with my speech, but I find on 20 mg. of Strattera per day I find myself stuttering and slurring my words on occassion.

Yes, in fact, in 2004 the FDA required Lilly to put a warning on Strattera that it could cause hepatitis. This is a very uncommon side effect. The hepatitis typically goes away when the drug is stopped.

Answer: Getting chills from Strattera is not a normal side effect, and it is more of a flu-like symptom which is not a good thing really.
