I don't know but I am experiencing it. Did you ever find an answer?
Some of the tissue in the face may have sent a wrong signal to the brain and the face would be twitching because of it.

Yes. Sinus problems can cause severe headaches, ranging from a dull ache to a shart shooting pain. But this can also be caused from a number of other causes, such as tension, migraine, neck strain, and even more serious conditions. If OTC sinus and pain meds don't give you relief, you need to see your doctor to rule out a more serious cause. But something else you can try that has helped my sinus headaches is standing in a hot shower with the water beating down on your face. It's something about the heat/steam, along with the pressure of the water that always helps my headaches, sinus or other types.
That sounds like a classic sinus infection. Since the sinus cavity sits right above your top teeth, it will feel like you have the worst toothache. Lower sinus is behind and under eyes and cheeks. so the pressure in your face and behind your eyes is unbearable and the blocked sinus is the standard thing to have when you have a severe sinus infection. Get to an E.N.T. specialist (ear, nose & throat) doctor. Left untreated, it may get worse and spread to your brain. Ask you doctor for a good sinus antibiotic and a nasal douche solution that comes with a little plastic Neti pot. I've had them so bad that a quick and painless death started to look rather attractive! Go to your doctor for a sinus anti-biotic!
This could be a sinus problem, or even a sinus infection. The pressure of the sinus congestion can definitely cause this type of pain. But since there are other causes of facial pain, you need to see your doctor of sinus medications don't help relieve the pain.
You can try using a humidifier, applying warm compresses to your face, drinking plenty of fluids, and practicing nasal irrigation with a saline solution. Steam inhalation, staying hydrated, and using a warm washcloth over your face can also help relieve sinus pressure. Additionally, avoiding allergens and irritants can prevent symptoms from worsening.
The roof of your mouth throbs because of all the pressure that the sinus infection is causing. Your sinus cavities are all packed and you can feel it inside your mouth and all throughout your face and head.
Hi there. I personally think that they can. In fact I just googled this very question myself and I'm having allergy/mild sinus issues the past few days. Additonally I've been having this tingling in my scalp on one side and sometimes even in my throat. It's been off an on over several days and very slight but still creepy. I've worried myself over "could it be a stroke" but calmed myself after reading about onset of stroke etc. Hopefully you're doing well now and the feeling is gone. Take care!
Chronic sinusitis or just a plain old sinus infection will cause pressure in your head and face. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it does not. Sinus infections can also cause you to feel nauseous or to get sick because of the mucus draining from your sinuses into your throat and stomach. if you don't think it is a sinus problem, migraines also come with nausea for some people but usually aren't associated with feeling pressure.
Patients with sick sinus syndrome face relatively normal lives if the disorder is controlled by a pacemaker. in some patients, the pacemaker does not adequately control the fluctuations. Left untreated, or in severe cases, the heart could stop beating.
The symptoms of a sinus infection include stuffiness in the nose, and pain and pressure in the face, particularly under and around the eyes. Other symptoms include loss of smell, dental pain and coughing.
there are different things which could cause tingling in the face, for example the tension associated with migraine can commonly cause numbness and tingling due to pressure.
