My experience with credit card companys is a nitemare as everyone must know by now. They do not seem to comprehend that we are in a recession and if they do they dont care. Credit card companys are owned by banks. Therefore aftrer they finish calling you to death they turn you over to a collection firm that works for them to get there money. Same form different names and numbers but same goal. COLLECT. they then may turn you over to a attorney firm who then will take you to court. They can place leins on your homes and take your vehicles to sell at auctions and or any asset that they may deem worthy to collect there debt. Credit card companys are un secured loans that you basically agreed to re-pay under there terms. You can fight them but basically your only hope is to work out a payment agreement. If you can not work this out. You should seek legal counsel
Credit card processing companies include iPayment, Square, and Intuit Payment Solutions. They are companies that will allow you to take credit cards for your business.
When looking for a credit card some type of credit history assessment will have to take place. No companies will offer a guaranteed offer of credit. Some companies are easier to be accepted to if you have poor credit history such as a credit builder card.
Credit card companies can bring you to court if you owe outstanding debts. They could end up garnishing your wages or even take your car if they win the case.
Almost all companies accept the Discover credit card. When you go to a place of business look for the little Discover symbol and you will know they accept it.
The credit card will add interest on your unpaid balance which will increase your total credit card debt. If the company cashes your check, nothing will happen. Except what is mentioned above. They often accept partial payments. If they don't take partial payments they will return your check & demand a full payment Different companies have different rules. You should contact them to find out exactly. They probably WON'T take a partial payment without charging you interest.

If you would like to rent a car but do not own a credit card you may be able to pay on a debit card instead. Rental companies understand that not everyone has a credit card and that this does not mean they have bad credit. All companies are different so it is best to check with them if they take payment via a debit card.
...you...my...?When I die, your credit card companies have absolutely nothing to do with the situation. When I die my credit card companies will take whatever I owe them.

You will default on your credit card accounts. Being an unsecured loan, there is little a credit card company can do. That is a risk credit card companies take. Regardless of why you can't pay, non-payment will result in default. The extent to which a credit card company will attempt to collect depends on whether or not they feel you have sufficient income.

Yes they can and arrest you or take you to court
I am a doctor- but also go to doctors and take my kids to doctors (very often!). Blockbuster has had my credit card (for more than 10 years), hotels take my credit card, car rental companies take my credit card. ?Do I trust the doctor less than those companies? If I owe money, then they will charge my credit card- Does ANYONE have a (legitimate) problem with that?

I would dispute it with the credit card companies and once they will have to take care of it or will either not be able to contact the company and therefore have to take it off.
