Yes, I'm sure that it is possible to damage your diaphragm.
Punture Lung.
yes you can
The diaphragm moves down and contracts, flattening itself, when you inhale.
well my friend it is quite easy to explain. The diaphragm is the section of our body that separates the Thorax from the Abdomen. There is a special hole in the diaphragm to let our food and etc. pass through. It is found that you are able to create a build up of air with your diaphragm which would help you to project your voice better. This doesn't mean that you have to have a good diaphragm to be a good actor but rather that it helps you a little more, unrecognizable by the human ear. ---Forgive me if my thesis is wrong as i am taking a very educated guess which could be wrong or write...its up to you to test it out, i am simply suggesting a reason---
When the diaphragm contracts the air is pushed out to the lungs and we breath. also when you project your voice you diaphragm rises causing you to take deeper breaths- this is why you breath more when you project your voice\sing etc
The esophagus connect with the stomach just below the diaphragm.
your diaphragm is a reddish color
The diaphragm moves down and contracts, flattening itself, when you inhale.
the diaphragm pushes up and the air flows out the diaphragm pushes down and the air flows in
When you breathe out the diaphragm moves upwards to push the air out of the lungs. When you breathe in the diaphragm moves downwards to draw air into the lungs. When you breathe out your diaphragm contract and moves upwards towards your head. when you breathe in too much your diaphragm explodes
Vocal Projection is when you make your voice louder so your audience can hear you better. Kinda like having your diaphragm being punched, and you go "HUAGH" (spelling may be wrong).

The stomach is inferior (below) to the diaphragm. The diaphragm is superior (above) to the stomach.

it is called the diaphram.
The Bald Eagle breathes with it's respiratory system. When it breathes in the diaphragm expands, and when it exhales, it's diaphragm contracts. There you go, NJP, out!
The diaphragm is not made out of bone, but the diaphragm is a muscle.
The muscle you are referring to is the diaphragm. It also separates the thoracic cavity from the abdominopelvic cavity.
